When his mistress dies and is buried, a man haunts the cemetery longing for her. One night the grave stone he is sitting on rises up and the skeleton arises and with a bony finger rewrites the inscription on the tombstone to the truth of the deceased life, not the nice poetry written on it. Looking around he finds all the graves are open and all the buried are doing the same. He finds the grave of his lover and discovers her hidden truth.
