The marquis, having no faith, lives his final days with two mistresses. News of his approaching death has his brother’s family
concoct a plan whereby he may be given the last rites of the church before he dies, even if against his will. The family emissaries are confronted by the old man and the two women and the they must concoct a scam to get the Abbe in to see him.
